Project Technologists
Our Client has an immediate requirement for Project Engineers/Technologists for our ongoing projects in Newfoundland.
The Project Engineers/Technologists will be responsible for any or all of the following depending on the project assignment:
- Provide technical support to the project team
- Liaise with consultants, clients and tradespeople as required
- Analyze contract drawings in relation to construction method and sequence
- Maintain construction documents
- Create and detail drawings for installation purposes
- Create Requests for Information (RFI)
- Perform take-offs and estimates for change orders
- Perform field checks and verifications
- Coordinate and oversee on site subcontractor activities
- Update and confirm the project schedule
- Assist with procurement and material documentation
- Complete as-built drawings
- Perform quality control field verifications
- Attend regular site meetings
- Assemble final project turnover documentation
The successful candidates will have
- a Bachelor of Engineering Degree or an Engineering Technology Diploma
- a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a commercial/industrial construction environment
